About John
Mediation for communication breakdowns, co-parenting concerns and conflicts involving young people and families.
John mediates family, parenting, youth and interpersonal disputes, including communication breakdowns, co-parenting concerns and conflicts involving young people and families. He works with both parties to create a balanced process where each person has an opportunity to be heard and to explore practical, workable solutions.
Before mediation begins, each party has an opportunity to speak with John individually. He explains the process, hears each person's concerns and determines whether mediation is appropriate. If both parties decide to proceed, they arrange a session in person or virtually. The first session focuses on identifying the issues, establishing a respectful process and working toward practical areas of agreement.

Before you call
- 1Check what you would pay. Your rate depends on your own personal net income and your family household size. See the reduced-fee schedule.
- 2Give your membership number when you call. Professionals only take registered JusticeNet clients — the number is what gets you the reduced rate.
- 3Know your own personal net income and your family household size. Count yourself and the family members in your household.
Every case is voluntary: John decides whether to take yours on, and you decide whether to hire him. JusticeNet takes no part in the case and no fee from it.
