- I offer a free 15-minute discovery call. My standard rate is $300/hour, with reduced rates available through JusticeNet based on income. A $1000 retainer is required to begin, held in trust and applied to billable time. Fees cover intake meetings, prep, joint sessions, and the Memorandum of Understanding.
About Lauren
'm a Family Mediator with a background in law, currently completing my Master of Laws (LLM) at Osgoode Hall Law School. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Paralegal Diploma from Centennial College, and a Graduate Certificate in Family Mediation from York University. I'm also accredited by the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (Acc.FM).
My practice focuses on helping families navigate the challenges of separation in a respectful, accessible, and solution-focused way. I offer virtual mediation services across Ontario, assisting clients with parenting plans, child and spousal support, property division, and post-separation modifications. I believe that mediation empowers families to reach informed, balanced agreements while reducing conflict, legal costs, and time spent in court.
In addition to my mediation work, I teach in York University’s Family Mediation program, where I focus on trauma-informed practice and screening for power imbalances.
