Ms. Svetlana Cocieru

Lana is the principal and founder of Amici Law, where she is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and effective legal services tailored to the needs of her clients. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science at York University before pursuing a Master of Arts in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at Carleton University. Building on her academic success, she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa. Following her call to the Ontario Bar, she has continued her legal career as a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Fluent in Russian, Romanian, Spanish, and English, and with conversational proficiency in German and Italian, Lana is able to serve clients from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds in the language they are most comfortable with.
