- Based in Toronto, Ontario, Franklin represents employees in Tribunals and Courts across Ontario.
We represent workers where they need us the most and when it matters the most.
We routinely assist workers in: severance package reviews and negotiations, wrongful dismissal actions, constructive dismissal actions, human rights complaints, unjust dismissal complaints, workers’ compensation claims, duty of fair representation complaints and employment insurance claims.
We represent an ethno-culturally and socio-economically diverse group of workers. They come from every type of profession, workplace, industry and trade.
Long before we ever set foot in a Courtroom or a Tribunal, we meet with our clients, listen to their experiences and learn about their pain, fears, needs and goals. We work with our clients and encourage them to ask questions and take active roles in their cases.
We believe that it is important for all of our clients to know what their case is about, understand the challenges and opportunities the legal system presents, and to make informed decisions about how best to move forward.
We represent our clients and the organizations that support them without apology and without compromise.

Fee StructureFurther description of my fee structure : Franklin Law is aware of the realities facing most workers and is committed to providing all workers – regardless of their circumstances – with access to justice. Because of that commitment, we provide accessible, cost-effective and creative legal services that are attuned to the needs of our clients. In our experience, clients appreciate certainty when it comes to legal fees. That is why we are moving away from hourly rate billing and offering flat fee billing as our primary alternative for both legal advice and representation. We provide one hour consultations to Justice Net referred clients at a reduced flat rate of $150.0o including HST.
“Our justice system will be further strengthened with the introduction of the JusticeNet program, as it will serve to complement existing access to justice programs intended for people who do not qualify for legal aid.”
The Hon. Rob Nicholson, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada
